Join the owner of The Drum Den, located in Hoboken, NJ, Peter Martinez, as he shows drumming techniques and skills for teens.

Pete Martinez was born and raised in Hudson County, NJ, where he developed a love for the drums and decided to pursue a career in music. Martinez played a number of instruments as a child, but when he tried the drums as a teen while attending St. Peter’s Preparatory School in Jersey City, he knew it was the instrument for him. Pete continued his music studies and earned a Bachelor of Music from New Jersey City University. After graduating from NJCU, Pete performed, toured, and recorded with many bands and occupied much of his daytime doing drum repair and teaching drum lessons. Pete ultimately decided he wanted a place of his own to teach, sell, and repair drums and decided to open The Drum Den in 2010. The Drum Den has taught hundreds of students the art of the drums and has customers ranging from the absolute beginner to first call drummers.
