Mia is a Saint Bernard and certified AKC therapy dog! Weighing in at over 150 pounds, Mia has provided tons of licks and love to children in autistic schools, individuals battling with sickness in hospitals and elderly seniors in nursing homes. Originally the dog of humanitarian Richard John Albero, Lucia Albero is following in her father’s footsteps continuing his loving legacy with Mia.
Lucia can usually be found reading a children’s book to Mia on Wednesdays at 5pm on our Facebook page. Children can tune-in through Facebook where they can ask questions in the chat and read-along with Lucia.
